In this ‘missing middle’ renovation, the small family home has been reconfigured as a multifunctional space that also serves as Husk's design office. The space showcases green building products & techniques and accommodates the unique needs of the family's musicians and rescue rabbit.

The project earned Husk 4 awards at SHINE 2025 as organized by PIDAA, the Professional Interior Design Advocacy Association of BC.

Husk is located in Vancouver, BC, Canada on the ancestral and unceded Coast Salish territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. We are inherently grateful to these original peoples for their ongoing stewardship, wisdom and innate connection to land, air & water. Due to their centuries of care, this beautiful area evokes respect for the natural world.
